Gundaroo, AustraliaThis is a composite image showing the progression of moons during the blood red full moon eclipse on 8 September 2025, shot north of Canberra, Australia. Starting with the full mineral moon at top left, then progressing clockwise as the eclipse progressed, the sixth image (at the bottom left) was the last of the eclipsing moons. That was followed by the blood moon (centre). When the cloud lifted, the final two images (left side) showed the progression back to the full moon.
