Merriam Street Bridge - Minneapolis, MNThe bridge connecting east bank of MPLS and Nicollet Island is Merriam Street Bridge constructed by King Iron Bridge Co. in 1887. Moved from its original location where it was called Broadway Avenue Bridge, this span is a beautiful work of art. The partial truss you see is decorative; the support beam is under the bridge.
