Where the land meets the sea...
"It was my first time to Coney Island and Brooklyn," says
@bretthowardnelson
of this photo series. "And it was also the first time seeing the Atlantic Ocean up close. After arriving, I noticed there was a unique cultural beach vibe–full of energy and excitement. It was unlike anything I had ever seen or experienced before, especially compared to the beach cultures of California and Hawaii, where beachgoers pretty much keep to themselves.
But at Coney Island, it was great to see a diverse group of New Yorkers and tourists clustered together, conversing, interacting, all while listening to music. It's a special, magical atmosphere that makes it a truly unforgettable beach experience!”

MORNING!!!!i need a VERO T-SHIRT!!!!😍😍😍😍
Very nostalgic 😊
@bretthowardnelson I remember thinking the same thing, coming from the South. Myrtle Beach might be the closest thing to Coney we have in the Carolinas, but it’s not at all the same. : ) Great photos! Thanks for sharing!
