There seems to be a lot of leads for army of the dead, consequently is the movie going to have a longer runtime as well? Are you on the search for casting currently too? Can't wait for the movie btw.
@ZackSnyder Is Netflix letting you shoot on film or do you have to go digital because of their native 4K mandate? Scorsese did shoot The Irishman partly on film, so I’m hoping it works out.
@AndrewSturgeon Exactly what I want to know. Netflix has been really strict on this but Scorsese (but he is Scorsese :D ) shot The Irishman partly on film.
@AaronLevine He owns the camera (well, maybe not THIS specific one, but he does own a Red camera), practical for tests too.
@MarkHoyne I’m kind of spamming the whole comment section but Zack owns his own Red camera. I don’t think (I certainly hope not) that it’s indicative of the format for the film. BUT Netflix has a strict native 4K digital mandate, Scorsese got to shoot The Irishman on film, so there might be a possibility there.
Is it difficult as a director to change direction and genres from project to project?
@ManuDelpech That’s what I was wondering. Hoping he’ll keep shooting on film like Nolan & Tarantino. Plus film suits his visual style to a T.
@AaronLevine @DavidDrummond I have no doubt he will unless Netflix gently :D suggests he shoots digitally and if so, this could be one film where he could try it out so to speak and then go back to film.
@ZackSnyder Hi, I love your movies, I am wondering what are you thoughts of the umpcoming HBO series spinoff of Watchmen and if you've ever thought to include Dr.Manhatten into the DCEU universe as part of his journey through the Universes
@ZackSnyder I know a good horror themed band that could appear in your movie, if you would like to have something in there like that.
Can't wait to see the results dude 😊

@ZackSnyder glad to see you doing your magic on screen again #love
Which Red Weapon is that? The Monstro or The Helium? And what lenses? I can’t wait to see how you utilize these cameras.
