@JimmySilver late reply but in the death of Superman it absorbs more radiation from a yellow star than his normal suit. So it makes sense for him to wear it if he's feeling weak after his rebirth
@zacksnyder if Clark had to kill Zod to learn the value of life in MoS.. why did he try to kill Batman just before being shot with the 2nd kryptonite grenade in BvS? Is Superman still willing to kill if the means are justified?
