A Portland-based physical therapist specializing in persistent pain, she turns to film photography as both a creative outlet and a form of stress relief. On weekends, she and her partner explore the city, capturing everything from birds, cats, and humans to striking landscapes. Speaking about her image 'Pink', she sets the scene… " This pink diva was taking a break from a Drag Brunch on Alberta St in Portland, OR. I'm normally hesitant to take photos of people without their consent, but my Olympus XA2 is the perfect covert film camera for being quick and sneaky. Right after I snapped the photo, she noticed me, kicked her leg in the air, and blew me a kiss. Kodak Portra 800 was the film used.." See more of Jessica's 35mm images.
