Somewhere Between Us

Can you believe it’s almost mid-August?

Some days have flown, others slowed down. Whether you’ve been creating, exploring, or just catching your breath, summer’s been a ride. Sometimes smooth, sometimes wild.

Whitney Rissi’s banner image 'coaster' captures this mood in full swing.

Whitney is a storyteller at heart, using her camera to capture the small, surprising moments that make life feel alive. Raised in Iowa, she’s been behind the lens since childhood, blending humor, warmth, and a sharp eye for detail in every shot. Beyond photography, Whitney embraces family life with her wife and daughter, finds inspiration in nature’s rhythms, and believes in the power of creativity to connect and uplift.
