Born in New Jersey and raised in Orlando, Dremoola discovered his voice behind the camera in South Florida. What started as a YouTube experiment in 2018 quickly shifted to still photography, and a 2019 trip to Cuba revealed his fascination with candid street moments—long before he knew the genre had a name.
Now focused on South Florida, Dremoola shoots exclusively on film, self-developing and scanning each image. His work captures the region’s people, energy, and atmosphere with an unfiltered, thoughtful eye.
Captured during Art Basel week in Miami, this featured image was shot on a Canon New F-1 with a 28mm lens on Kodak Ultramax 400. A self-development mishap turned it black and white, transforming a mistake into an artistic choice. Taken near an old-school car show that had been broken up by the police, Dremoola noticed a man on a motorcycle passing by and framed the moment thoughtfully.
