My VERO #11: Paul Henderson
British GQ's Associate Editor.
Paul Henderson is an award-winning journalist, his work has appeared in the Times, the Guardian, the Telegraph, Men’s Health, Maxim, and The Spectator.
As well as covering sport, health and fitness, food and drink and motoring, he has edited three books (GQ Eats, GQ Drinks, and GQ Drives) and written several cover stories, including profiles of Anthony Joshua, David Beckham, Andy Murray, and Lewis Hamilton.
He lives in East London with his wife, two kids, and a "high-maintenance, grumpy" mini-dachshund called Ziggy Pup. Below are the VERO accounts that make this tastemaker tick:
Wavelength
The original UK surfing magazine. Great escapist content, retro vibes, and cool photography. Plus, this was the first magazine I worked on out of journalism school. I was terrible at surfing (still am), but it was a great place to start.
Upshift Online
If you are looking for a two-wheeled adventure, you'll find it at Upshift Online. Featuring stunning off-road imagery for bikers who don't mind getting down and dusty, it really goes to show there ain't no mountain high enough...
Rankin
The OG of 90s British fashion photography who is still running the game all these years on. Still cool, still relevant, still interesting, and always pushing boundaries.
Greg Williams
The absolute portrait don. I've loved Greg's work whenever he has shot for GQ... and also when he hasn't. Not only has he got an incredible eye, but he's also got a great beard.
