Thunder Jackson
In The Movies
Thunder’s new ballad previews his much anticipated new album.
'In The Movies' is an intentionally unfiltered view into the turbulence of his often rocky road to self-realization
'In the Movies' captures the extraordinary heartbreak of a relationship that could not survive the tension and intensity triggered by one person who is still struggling to find his true self and a feeling of inner peace. It all plays out like a tragic story in a movie, where one character ends up bereft and alone. But in real life, the pain doesn’t subside after the credits roll. In fact, it might even get worse.
The single is produced by Until The Ribbon Break, and it is mixed by Grammy and ARIA award winner Eric J (Flume, Weezer, St. Vincent). It showcases Jackson at his vulnerable, yet insightful. He performs with raw soul and confidence over a piano-led ballad that gradually builds to a full rock crescendo, replete with layers of complex guitar/drum interplay and a chorus punctuates the intensity of Jackson’s lyrics.
'Hello Stranger' the album, by Thunder Jackson, is out October 25th.
