Possession
Maybe Our souls are haunted
By sainted bodies
Who didn't fit their own time
But have come
To be fleshed and bodied
As we align.
All that will come to pass Is more than you
Or I could ever ask They couldn't get it right in their time
So they are borrowing the stars
From these nights of mine
When things so physical come to pass
How is it, That which is spiritual screams the loudest,
Screams with splattered blood
With every physical manifestation of our love
These nights are the hottest Making rivers down the meridians of our bodies In this trance like state
Something in us awakes My soul rises as I get closer to you,
I feel you rising too.
Step evenly
Every elegant line of your body The turn and curve of your stomach
And the fold in your arms
And all the magick about your fingers and wrists
As you tap into existence things which do not yet exist
